Renewal – A replenishing process for originally fresh life.
God gives us four substantial ‘renewal’ days
Jesus’ incarnation day.
Jesus’ death day.
Jesus’ resurrection day.
Our salvation day.
Titus 3:3-8 3 At one time we too were foolish, disobedient, deceived and enslaved by all kinds of passions and pleasures. We lived in malice and envy, being hated and hating one another. 4 But when the kindness and love of God our Savior appeared, 5 he saved us, not because of righteous things we had done, but because of his mercy. He saved us through the washing of rebirth and renewal by the Holy Spirit, 6 whom he poured out on us generously through Jesus Christ our Savior, 7 so that, having been justified by his grace, we might become heirs having the hope of eternal life. 8 This is a trustworthy saying. And I want you to stress these things, so that those who have trusted in God may be careful to devote themselves to doing what is good. These things are excellent and profitable for everyone.
Hebrews 11:1,2 Now faith is confidence in what we hope for and assurance about what we do not see. 2 This is what the ancients were commended for.
“Renew is something you do; Renewal is something I do.”
Renewal is received not achieved.
The Renewal Process

New Again =Aware, Ask, Offer, Obey
Until you are aware you are running on fumes, you will never ask God for renewal.
Psalm 51:10 David asks God “Create in me a pure heart, O God, and renew a steadfast spirit within me.”
No matter the cause of your emptiness or decreasing volume, be aware of it and ask for renewal.
OFFER & OBEY
Romans 12:1-2 Therefore, I urge you, brothers and sisters, in view of God’s mercy, to offer your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and pleasing to God—this is your true and proper worship. 2 Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is—his good, pleasing and perfect will.
Offer Ourselves in Worship
Obey His will in all manners of life

Isaiah 40:27-31 27 Why do you complain, Jacob? Why do you say, Israel, “My way is hidden from the Lord; my cause is disregarded by my God”? 28 Do you not know? Have you not heard? The Lord is the everlasting God, the Creator of the ends of the earth. He will not grow tired or weary, and his understanding no one can fathom. 29 He gives strength to the weary and increases the power of the weak. 30 Even youths grow tired and weary, and young men stumble and fall; 31 but those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint.
The promise of renewal didn’t immediately change Israel’s context but it changed Israel! Renewal is God’s promise for us this year. Our role is to be…
