We are passionate about teaching kids from birth through 5th Grade that God created them, He loves them, He calls them by name and that they can trust God’s Word! Come join us on our journey to grow closer to God’s heart through music, play, bible stories and fun!
Secure Check-in/Check-out
All GatewayKids, ages 6 weeks- 5th grade, are checked in by parents at one of four Check-In Stations located near the entrances to GK Junior and the Elementary Kids Area.
When you arrive, go to the GK Jr. entrance for ages 0-PreSchool and/or the Elementary entrance towards the back of the building for K-5th grade kids. One of our greeters will check you in and hand you a security tag that goes on your child’s back and one that you keep for pick-up. At pick-up, you will hand your security tag to your child’s teacher who will remove the security sticker from your child’s back and release your child to you. All of our team members are required to have attended Gateway for at least six months and pass a background check before serving in GatewayKids.
Upcoming Kid’s Events
Our Classes
Nursery - 6 weeks to 18 months
Our youngest friends enjoy a secure soothing environment with age appropriate toys, baby equipment and play.
If needed, there is also a Mother’s room at the back of the sanctuary for feeding and changing, with a live stream of the service.
Toddler - 18 months - 2 years
Our toddlers enjoy their playtime with our “Toys with a purpose”, followed by learning the basics of their faith: “God loves me”, “I love God”, “I love the Bible”, and more. Our Toddlers learn concepts, to then learn bigger Bible stories. They also get to hold the Holy Bible, and learn that the Bible is God’s word and way of speaking to us.
Kids also get served a snack and water. The snack options provided are goldfish and veggie straws.
We are a NUT FREE facility, if you would like to send your child with a specialty snack, please keep that in mind for the safety of our children and staff.
Pre-School - 3 - 4 year olds
Our Pre-Schoolers start the day with a fun play time, with our “Toys with a purpose”, where we rotate different toys weekly to provide the kids with different skills and opportunities for imaginative play, music, and follow the One Accord curriculum and learn Bible Stories that showcase God’s character, and the faith of those who came before us. We love the our curriculum, as it brings the Bible to life for our kids with interactive lessons, crafts, and activities.

Elementary - K-5th Grade
Our Elementary Kids have their own service tailored to their age group. We offer 3 classrooms for our Elementary Kids: K-1st graders, 2nd-3rd graders, and our Pre Teens (4th-5th graders).
Kids start the day in their classrooms, then we gather all together in the Kids Sanctuary for games, our declaration of faith, worship led by one of our Gateway Worship Leaders, Bible Lesson and activity, then we break again into our classrooms and do in classroom discussions, prayer, and community time.
GK Plus
GatewayKids Plus exists to minister to and include kids with special needs. It is our desire to come alongside families of special needs children to provide a safe, inclusive environment for their child within the construct of our Sunday morning classes. We have a team of people who are committed to being a Buddy for a special needs child in our ministry.
In order to best serve your child, please make sure to email Pastor Bruna before coming to service. Our Buddy’s come according to the need of the day, so we can be sure to have a Buddy ready for your child.
If you have a child that we can assist or if you would like to become a GK Plus Buddy, please contact Pastor Bruna, and download, print, and fill out the Child Profile Form:
GK Wellness Policy
GatewayKids takes the health and safety of our children very seriously and strives to provide a safe, healthy environment for all. Immediately following each service, our volunteer staff cleans all toys and surfaces used. In addition, twice weekly, an outside contracted company cleans our facilities with hospital grade disinfectant. There are several things you can do as well to help our environments stay germ-free:
Please help your child use the hand sanitizer provided at the Check-In Stations before they enter Kids Church.
Emphasize the importance of hand washing, especially after using the restroom.
If your child is not feeling well, please keep them at home.
Symptoms such as fever, a yellow/green runny nose, frequent cough, diarrhea or vomiting, red and runny eyes, and undiagnosed rashes are all indicators that a child should not be placed in GatewayKids or GK Jr. for the protection of the other children.
All children must be fever free without fever reducing medication for at least 24 hours before attending.
If our Kids ministry team notices any of the above symptoms while a child is in their care, the parent will be notified and asked to take the child home.
Thank you for helping GK be the healthiest it can be!
