Chris Dodd
Executive Pastor
Chris serves as the Executive Pastor at Gateway Franklin, where he’s approaching his 10th year on staff and his 20th year in pastoral ministry. He’s passionate about helping people grow in their faith, walk in freedom, and find their place in the church. With a heart for growth and a love for strategy, Chris leads with both compassion and clarity.
He met his wife, Maribeth, through ministry over two decades ago, and they’ve been navigating life, love, and leadership together ever since. While Maribeth isn’t on staff, she plays a vital role at Gateway, leading the Women’s Ministry and bringing her trademark mix of warmth, inspiration, and humor to every room she enters.
Between the two of them, they’ve served in just about every corner of church life—discipleship, small groups, operations, worship, and church planting. Basically, if it ends in “ministry,” they’ve probably done it (and probably cleaned up after it).
Chris and Maribeth are raising four boys (18, 15, 13, and 8), which means their home is loud, their calendar is full, and their grocery bill is... impressive. With three teenagers under one roof, they’re fluent in chaos and grace—and wouldn’t have it any other way.
